Welcome to Meowjong: Lucky Tiles' first-ever cat café mahjong session! Join us at the cosy Cha & Zak's Clubhouse in Marrickville for an afternoon of tiles, purrs, and good company. Your ticket includes a matcha drink from Kara's Home and the full cat café experience — fluffy housemates roaming freely while you play.

Whether you're a mahjong regular or a total newbie, this one's a must. 🐾

🐾 I have a cat allergy — can I still come? 
Cha & Zak's Clubhouse is a fully functioning cat café with resident cats present throughout the venue. If you have a cat allergy, please consider this carefully before booking. We unfortunately can't offer a cat-free space within the venue.

Frequently asked questions

Refund Policy

Refunds are available up to 2 days prior to the event. If you're unable to attend after the refund period, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend by clicking "Manage Order" in your confirmation email and updating the attendee details there.
I'm new to Mahjong or HK point-scoring style

We have instructional materials, but also feel free to check out this amazing youtube video that goes over the basics. For players who know the basics already, here is a great intro to points.

Learning is also more fun with newbies. When you buy ticket, we will ask about your level. Later at the event, we will group newbies together and there will us around your tables help guide you along the way.
What style are we playing?

For casual players, our default game is HK style (with points) because it's fun! However, people are welcome to play any style agreed by their table. If you would like us to try a different style, please let us know! We have tried Sichuan style before and it was heaps of fun!
Can I bring my own set?

Feel free to bring your own set, we’ve got some available too if you’d prefer to use ours!
